Hi all,
As you may know, Mullagh and Kiltormer have made a decision to field separate teams from u7 up to u13 levels for 2026. Player numbers in both clubs currently allow for this but the situation will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Mullagh/ Kiltormer will continue to field joint teams from u14 up to u20 levels for 2026, as has been the arrangement for the last number of years.
Management teams have mostly been finalised at this stage and plans are being made for the year ahead. Members of our committee have been extremely busy over the past number of months with recruitment of coaches, organising of courses and tending to a huge amount of admin work in ensuring that all our coaches have the necessary clearance and qualifications to work with our juvenile teams. To this end, ICGG (foundation) coaching course takes place in Mullagh on Saturday 14th February. New coaches are always welcome and if you are interested in doing any courses or in getting involved in any capacity with our juvenile teams, contact myself or our coaching officers (Mark Finnerty and Eamon Donoghue).
ClubZap will be our main method of communication with teams from Nursery to u13 so please ensure to have the app downloaded to avoid missing messages for your child's team as groups are set up over the coming days and weeks. In the coming months, parents will be invited to a juvenile meeting where we will share our vision for the year ahead and welcome any feedback and queries you may have.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me if you have anything urgent to discuss.
Regards,
Eric Ward
