Firstly, my apologies for the email which is not GAA related, however the below may impact upon many of your members and you may be best placed to make people aware in your community.
You may or may not have heard about the planned gas power plant in Portumna/Killimor. That proposed plant will need to be fed by a large gas main coming from New Inn. We have just learned of a planned meeting about this gas main construction. It will be held in the Sports Complex in Kiltormer on Tuesday 20th May from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. I have attached images of the meeting and the proposed gas main locations.
Again, we appreciate that this is not strictly a GAA matter, but your assistance is just raising awareness would be much appreciated.
